The puppy saga continues.

Not one to simply say something and let it go, my daughter, Ellie, has decided to increase my awareness of her need for a puppy. It all started with a little note from a couple of days ago. Now, there are two more papers occupying space on the fridge.

She drew a line drawing of a dog, with a full color drawing of our family with the adorable canine.

Then today, I saw that she has elaborated on the idea, and done a full color presentation.

I guess I should be proud that my daughter is showing perseverance, creativity, and artistry all at the same time, right? Maybe I should just be grateful that she’s not pushing me for a cat. Now THAT would be too much.

So you’re not a cat person, huh? Oh, well. Nobody’s perfect. =D

If she keeps putting dog pictures on the fridge, you will have to name your new puppy “Oscar Meyer”.

Well I might have to say that we could be partly to blame for this too…The last time Ellie came over we had just gotten our dog…so needless to say she enjoyed every minute that she could spend with our dog! She was also very excited about how well our dog acted and thought you would like a dog who was as well behaved too…
On the bright side the pictures look nothing like our dog:)

Amen about the cats!! You never know when they are going to attack. It’s like oh nice kitty and all the sudden their claws are in attack mode.

Save a Spaniel!!!! lol. I definately suggest a cocker spaniel…as they are the Best family dog in the world….my Personal opinion :-) The one I have is named Teddy Bear, and his name describes him well. He is only 3 years old, and Kevin and I have had him since he was 6 months. He potty trained fast and doesnt shed unless he gets brushed. Beyond that though, his personality is Priceless and he is Great to snuggle with and is a major lap dog. If I were to ever get another dog, it would definately be a cocker spaniel. Also…the pound only has to keep dogs for 3 days before putting them to sleep and they have some great companions there in great shape! You and Jenny have a smart girl wanting a dog, whatever she pursuades you into getting…hee hee.

When Lance was younger, he got a hamster, named “Beaver Bat Hamsterson.” Remember, they are easier to care for in a tighter environment. You can put him on a running wheel, generate electricity to run your camera flashes.

A Beagle just won Best In Show at the Westminster Kennel Club and Lance had a beagle when he was a child, his name was “Benjamin.”

It is easier to have a male dog neutered, than to have a female dog spayed.
